The Regional Transportation Council is the independent transportation policy body of the Metropolitan Planning Organization. The RTC meets the second Thursday of each month, and the RTC’s 44 members include local elected or appointed officials from the metropolitan area and representatives from each of the area’s transportation providers. The limits of proposed improvements include 1-20 from Forest Hill Drive to Park Springs Boulevard, 1-820 from 1-20 to Brentwood Stair Road and US 287 from Bishop Street to Sublett Road.
