Report: Transportation Issues Hinder DFW Veterans

Apr 5, 16 • SETTP NewsNo Comments

For many North Texas veterans, lack of transportation is one of the main impediments to accessing services, getting medical care or holding jobs, according to an extensive survey released Tuesday by a coalition of nonprofits that serve veterans in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

IH 30/SH 360 interchange UPDATE

Sep 2, 15 • Progress, SETTP NewsNo Comments

The IH 30/SH 360 interchange received environmental approval on 8/26/2015. This is a major milestone and will allow the project to proceed towards an October 2015 letting. This $235 million project is primarily being funded with $210 million of Proposition 1 monies and $25 million of CMAQ. Special thanks to the Fort Worth District, Design Division, and Environmental Affairs Division staff at TxDOT for expediting the design and reviews of this regionally important transportation improvement.
